The location is absolutely good as you have the subway, malls, eating joints (even one which is open 24*7), 7 Eleven , Starbucks , the list is endless , at a walking distance .
The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are clean and well kept. The selection of food at breakfast is outstanding and had such a huge range.
All the guests could enjoy free wireless internet access.

“A perfect stay”
Ideally located - plenty of eateries around - two Starbucks stores, one within the complex - Line 4 Metro station is a five minute walk. The rooms are spacious (stayed in the main tower) - the Wi-Fi is perfect - there's nothing to dislike - easily a 4-star hotel.
Catch the Metro to Century Avenue and change to Line 2 for a five minute ride to the Oriental Pearl Tower - the easiest option to get to the other side of the river.

“Excellent ambiance”
Ramada Plaza Gateway at Shanghai is a very homely place. Located close to a major shopping mall (just 5 mintes walk is a good modern mall) it is located nicely. Rooms in the floor where we stayed were clean and tidy though a bit small. The pantry is separated with a glass partition which is quite unique. the bathrooms were neat and tidy and they really change towels and accessories everyday unlike soem other hotels in China.
The breakfast buffet is quite sumptuous and they give almost every thing a western tourist look for. Most hotels in China give very mild tea and most are reluctant to provide additional tea bags. But at Ramada Plaza Gateway, Shanghai, they were quite friendly and quick to serve whatever extra you want. The front office staff were quite freindly and helpful but many were not quite fluent with English. But then even in other hotels in China this was so.
