Day 2

Place & Transport Beijing
Today's Activities largest public square. One visitor has written, "An army could be massed, and all the kites in the world could fly." Then walk through the Square to enter the Forbidden City, the symbolic center of the Chinese universe and a lasing monument of dynastic China. Afterwards, take a rickshaw ride along Old Beijing's Hutong to discover the sights and sounds of local Beijing life in these traditional Chinese neighborhoods. This tour features a delicious lunch served at a local family home. Last stop is the idyllic Summer Palace, once the summer retreat and playground for the imperial family and royal court during the late Qing Dynasty.

Day 3

Place & Transport Beijing
Today's Activities In the morning, you visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complexes in China and a paradigm of Chinese architectural balance and symbolism. One key element in China's architectural genius was the blending of the monumental with the delicate, and the Temple of Heaven is perhaps the finest expression of this mixing of near opposite. After lunch at a local restaurant, you take a scenic drive through the countryside and mountains to reach China's most renowned monument – Mutianyu Great Wall which is less-visited and more original section. In the evening, we are gathering for a specially prepared meal of Beijing Duck, cooked to crispy perfection.

Day 4

Place & Transport Beijing-Shanghai
Today's Activities After breakfast, take a chance to stop at the Bird Nest and visit the exterior portion of this huge complex — the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympics on the way to Beijing 798 Art Zone where you will be able to touch the unique sense of culture and have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival In Shanghai, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is left on your own.
Once was the military-industrial factory complex since early 1950's, Beijing 798 Art Zone has more than 200 art & culture galleries. Meanwhile, it is often compared with New York's Greenwich Village.

Day 5

Place & Transport Shanghai
Today's Activities In the morning, pay a visit to the Shanghai Museum where you can appreciate a large number of precious collections. Afterwards, ramble around the Bund, a famous waterfront, which is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. After lunch, enjoy a tranquil and happy time in the Yuyuan Garden, a 400 year old classical Chinese garden in the Old Town of Shanghai. Then stroll around the Yuyuan Market, a famous shopping area with various traditional Chinese arts and crafts and souvenirs. Finally, you can walking along the Tianzifang, a new art zone in Shanghai, in which you can find special architecture of old shanghai city as well as a lot of bars, cafes, craft shops, studio, galleries, and boutiques.

Day 6

Place & Transport Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai
Today's Activities Today you'll be transferred to the beautiful Suzhou to enjoy the exquisite Master of the Nets Garden as well as the well preserved Tongli Water Town. As one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou, the Master of the Nests Garden is like a beautifully cut diamond whose beauty is of never ending, although it is small in size. Tongli is a dreamy and picturesque water town, which is famous for its rivers, ancient bridges and house complexes. Afterwards, you'll be transferred back to Shanghai.

Day 7

Place & Transport Depart from Shanghai
Today's Activities Go to the airport to take your homeward flight by yourself. The service ends here.
