Ms.Nancy Evans's China Tour Review
Dear Tracy,
Thank you for your help for our first China trip.
Each guide was pleasant, with excellent English and great knowledge of their subject and history of your country.
Jenny in Nanjing helped acclimate us to China and pointed out many places and activities for us to enjoy after the tour was finished for that day.We did go to lunch connected to a tourist shop and felt pressured by the shop people - not by Jenny.
Emma in Xi’an was great fun - we all enjoyed our tour with her - we did go to the terracotta soldiers shop but did not feel pressured by anyone. Emma seemed extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot of history. The dumpling dinner was terrific and the show was great fun, and the lunch at the museum was great. Our visit to the Wild Goose pagoda was enlightening, we went to the fireworks display and fountain display at night -what a site. The hotel even had a Birthday Cake for me.
Ellie in Chonqing was helpful even took the time to show our son the university he has an interest in.We had very little time in Chongqing but our time was perfect with Ellie.Loved Ciqikou!
Tiger in Yichang was a riot! he showed us the surrounding city and even helped serve in the restaurant to keep us on schedule to get to the airport on time.
Nick in Shanghai was a great guide enjoyed all - we went to the tea house at at the Temple and did not feel pressured by anyone.Enjoyed the tea and bought some but forgot to get the email address of the tea house to order more (can you supply that email address?)
Juliet in Beijing was just terrific,we had so much fun - she has a great sense of humor - Our driver was outstanding - what a pleasure to be with both of them and to see all the sites in Beijing - all the history all the stories and Juliet had a wealth of them.
We loved the dumpling dinner - the 2 a la carte lunches were in terrific restaurants. We didn’t have a bad meal !!!!!!!
All hotels were very nice - The Grand New World in Xi’an and especially Ramada Plaza Gate
Shanghai, spacious - well located -helpful staffs.
We enjoyed bottled water every trip -The vehicles were always clean and equiped with bottled
water.Thanks
I would not mind to be serving as a reference, as we had a fantastic trip to China - (our first) you made it so easy for us - we just sat back and enjoyed. Thanks again.

Mr. Stanley Alvin Hall's China Tour Review
Tracy and Ivy,
Thank you, for the tour and the opportunity to provide feedback. Please see my comments below.
Your Guide service was great. There were where they were suppose to be and they were very knowledgeable, professional, curtious and helpful. I had two Guides, one in Chengdu and one in Lhasa. Both were great.
The drivers and the vehicles were great also. It was the driver who found me in the airport in Chengdu at 1:00 AM. In Lhasa the driver was hard working, reliable, professional and was flexible for pictures taking, etc.
The dinners provided in the at the Four Points Hotel in Lhasa were incredible. I had a hard beliving that I was in Tibet the food was very western gourmet. The dinners were awesome. I would recomment the grilled Lamb Chops to anyone. They were perfect. I thought I would have perferred Tibetian food. It was important to take advantage of the knowledge of the Chef and give him a chance to show off.
Minshan Lhasa Hotel, Chengdu was my favorite hotel. It was very nice. All of the hotels were good with great service. The hotels Tibet generally are not heated which was a surprise.
Please post my comments and contact information. I would be happy serve as a reference for you. All I have is good things to say.
Thank you, for all of your help.

Mr. Andreas D.'s China Tour Review
Dear Candy!
First I want to say that I liked this journey and China very, very much.
Thanks to your excellent organization, I gained a lot of impressions notwithstanding the relatively short time. Although you had not much time to organize everything and then there was also problems with the European departure airport, everything worked perfectly.
It was really great and the special female trip leaders was outstanding. All of them were personally interested in, have a great knowledge and excellent English skills. I write not only so, but really mean it. Compared with all other trips that I made so far, I can say that you have the most efficient organization and the best tour leaders. I’m so delighted!
I can and will recommend your travel agency and the guides in any case.
Do you also organize trips outside of China? In Vietnam, for example? There we want to go in some months.
The feedback form for Ms Sugar in Shanghai I just completed on your website.
On this occasion I would like to point out that I did *not* get this feedback form for Xi’an and Ms Emma (in Shanghai). Perhaps you can send me also a link for the review.
> We also have put the photo we took that evening when you were in Xian in the attachment, hope you could enjoy it.
Thank you for the photo. Please be patient due to my photos. In a few days I will sort it and show you (maybe by link).
> In general, what did you think of our guides >service? Did the tour guides speak clearly and >politely to make themselves understood? >Did any guides stand out for reasons good or bad? How often did each guide arrange stops at souvenir shops or factories? Did the >guide seek your agreement to make such stops or did you feel pressed to do some shopping?
Most of these questions I already answered above. Their English was better than mine. They offered me stops at factories and shops, but never pressed me. It was always up to me to accept this offer or not.
> 2. Driver Service and Vehicle
>How did you feel about our driver service? Was >your tour vehicle clean and equipped with air-conditioners?
The drivers in Beijing and Xi’an were very friendly. The driver in Shanghai was rather quiet and calm. But there is not much to say except that everyone was on time and the cars were always clean and everything worked.
All cars had air-conditioning, but more important to me was that they were well heated. (~_^)
>3. Lunches and Dinners
>What did you think of the lunches and dinners >arranged by us? Did you have any favorites? Did you strongly dislike any particular >meal? Why?
I always prefer Chinese, Indian and Japanese food than western food. I realized that in China all taste better and the selection is larger than in a Chinese restaurant in Europe.
The Hot Pot lunch with Ms Emma in Xi’an was my favorite!
However, all other meals were very good. The guides always regarded on what I prefer (fish) and what not (beef).
In the hotels they had a rich breakfast buffet and I ate mostly so much that two other meals were already too much. Usually I eat only 2 times a day. The hotel in Shanghai unfortunately had almost western cuisine for breakfast.
>4. Daily Bottled Water
>We require our local partners to provide two >bottles of mineral water for each guest in Datong. Did you receive and enjoy them?
Yes, I ever received the bottled water. It’s a nice gesture and certainly more important in summer.
> 5. Photos
> Would you mind sharing some memorable travel photos with us?
Yes, but please remain patient ...
> 6. References
> Would you mind serving as a reference and allowing us to post your comments on our website?
Yes, willingly.
Have a nice day!

Kindly Regards
Andreas D.

Mr.& Mrs. Snedeker's China Tour Review
![]() |
Dear Sophia & Cindy,
Please see my comments below. I have also attached our evaluation of Emma from our time in Xi’an.
The guide service far exceeded expectations. Both Emma & Cindy are excellent tour guides with extensive knowledge of history and places, with great English speaking skills. It is obvious they are enjoy being tour guides, and they are very good at it. They were both enjoyable to speak with and fun to be around. The stops at souvenir shops seem well placed and appropriate, and were not pressured.
Most of the meals were adequate. The dumpling banquet was excellent.
The hotels were very good, the breakfasts were a nice way to start the day with a good selection of food and beverages. I would recommend all the hotels were stayed at.
Best Regard,
Matt & Shefali
