Dear Lydia and Andee,
We are back in the United States now but I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to Xian. I really appreciate how you were able to schedule the trip on such short notice. My only regret is that we did not have more time to spend in mainland China, but we may make another trip in about a year to do just that. We were able to do quite a lot in just two days in Xian. Our guide (Amy) and our driver (Mr. Chang) were both excellent. They took care of everything. We just had to enjoy ourselves! The terra cotta warriors were amazing and Amy was very knowlegeable about the history and details of the site. We were impressed with the city wall as we did not realize it was so big! We worked up quite a thirst riding bikes around the wall and were very appreciative of the bottled water that was available. All the meals were excellent, especially the dumpling dinner and the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. Our hotel was very nice and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone was very kind and always smiling. Amy and Mr. Chang really made an extra effort to make sure we were comfortable. When my wife had a stomach ache, they made an immediate stop at a local pharmacy to get some medicine that fixed the problem. Overall it was an excellent trip that we will always remember!

Thank you very much for the wonderful trip organized by CTO, we were very pleased that we had two unforgettable weeks in China with you.
Initially when we took on your offer some of us in the group were not sure we are going to get a trip or what was on offer but they were pretty pleased when Nancy meet us at the beijing airport and the trip was was expected from the list. Good show. And I'd like to praise John Wu or Wu Chung in Mt. Huangshan, he is the best tour guide we had.
The hotels were very comfortable, the best one is the sheraton, the attendant was helpful and the palce is superb. Talking about food, like the country food after the walk from the great wall and the dinner in the town of Mt. Huangshan was unique and delicious at the old road restaurant. Highly recommended, others were ok.
The vehicles are quite clean and tidy with air-conditioners during the whole trip, and the tour guide sort all of them very well. We were very pleased the way they handle the situation. Even the climb in Mt. Huangshan, John changed the itinary because of the rain so the trip was not spoiled. Even English is not be the first language but the tour guides were able to give us a decent tour of the place. The bottles of mineral water did save us the trouble of getting a supply of water each day.

Hello Cindy and Sophia,
Thanks for the email, we all enjoyed our holiday very much and was most impressed with the level of sevice we received. We were grateful to have had someone waiting for us at the airport at each stage of the trip and transported to the hotel without delay.
The vehicles were clean and air-conditioned at all stages of the trip. I don't believe we experienced any problems. The drivers were all polite and refrained from smoking in our presence. Most of the tour guides were very good and most helpful, their English was clear and understandable. We struck up a real rapport with Nancy in Beijing and also John in Huang Shan, I think they were exceptional in their abilities as guides in their various ways and made us feel very special, testing our abilities to want to learn more about the various places we visited in China.
The mineral water was a great advantage as we were advised not to drink the tap water, having it ready on the coach for us was a very good idea and saved us having to buy it at inflated prices at some of the tourist spots we were in.
Most of the hotels selected were good, the standards in the bigger cities were better, overall as we had very little time in the hotels, our schedule was so full any problems we had were minor but we did notice some of the hotels which provided a safe in our rooms were not very safe as they were not secured to the wall so could have been carried away, this included the Sheraton Hotel in Guilin. Most of the hotels were clean and tidy, but some of them did not offer very good choices for breakfast, the best one had to be Sheraton Hotel in Guilin.
The restaurants were reasonable and all the guides did constantly ask to make sure we had enough food and whether we enjoyed it. Out of politeness on our part, we did not say we did not enjoy some of the food as we did manage to work up an appetite at meal times due to the extra activities and ate most of the things on offer. We were very good and did not insist on being taken to the nearest macdonalds!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our trip to China, we are so grateful having booked with yourselves as all the places we wanted to visit we managed to see at our leisure, we were never rushed like cattle and treated as VIPs everywhere we went. All the stresses normally associated when travelling on your own was removed, we never lost any time waiting for the bus to arrive and everything was done to suit our needs which made this one of the best holidays we have ever been on. We did worry after paying for the holiday as this is a new company but I am so glad we went as we were so impressed with the whole experience I would definitely come back again to visit other areas in China. We are more than happy to recommend your company to our friends and family. I would not hesitate to book with yourselves again as the level of service we have received have been very good whilst we were in China.
I think all the tour guides are very good, I think Nancy in Beijing was very friendly, John in Huangshan was very experienced and knowledgeable, he gave us the best food during the holiday taking us to exceptional restaurants during our trip with him. And Rose and Gary were also very good.

Our trip was memorable and all down to the good organization and planning by CTO. Guides were very competent and knowlegeable. We would not hesitate to make future trips to china via your organization. THANKS CTO.
The vehicles were great, no breakdown and comfortable and all the drivers were courteous and helpful. We have no communication difficulty at all. All guides were very knowledgeable of the area and history and were very helpful.
Most hotels were great, the best hotel Sheraton in Guilin and Hua ting hotel in shanghai, some location the food was good whereas at some other places, the food was average. For example, very Good food at Huangshan(tunzi), meals at Yangshuo and shanghai(except for a sichuan meal which was good) were only average.
The great tour guides in Beijing(Nancy), Xian(Rose), at Huangshan(John) and at Guilin(Gary).
