We would like to thank you once again for arranging for us a wonderful tour of three great cities of China. We are very satisfied and happy for having received by very-well trained tour guides. All of them -- Ms. Juliet, Miss Jolin and Miss Judy performed their job most professionally. They were punctual, courteous, helpful, loving and well-informed. Their command of English language was very good, and we did not have any problem communicating with them or through them with others. The transportation was good; drivers were safe and dependable. All the three hotels -- Prime Hotel in Beijing, Empark Grand Hotel in Xian, and Lexington Plaza in Shanghai were top of the line, and our stay was extremely comfortable. The restaurants and the food were good, with the exception of only one place where service was as good as others, and we had informed the manager through Miss Judy that we were not very happy.
Despite the cold weather, we learnt a lot about the rich Chinese history, its culture, people, and the fabulous performing arts. We are surely going to recommend ChinaTourOnline to all our friends who might be thinking to visit China. We have four grown up children and ten grandchildren, and we are already encouraging them to tour the great country of China through your help.
We will like to offer a special appreciation for the gift of silk scarf’s to us by Fay in Xian. It was good to meet with her in person.

Hello Lydia and Team,
We have responded in "red text" below.
Vehicles were kept in excellent condition at all times. No problems occurred.
Drivers were very polite. Driver in Xian was on his mobile phone a lot which several people made comment on.
Tour guides were excellent in communicating. Lena in Xian was outstanding and Mia our guide in Beijing was very good also.
Most of us commented on how good the restaurants were. Some of course were better than others but the standard of food was excellent. Our first night in Shanghai the restaurant was the least appealing with the food but as our flight was delayed and we arrived late not sure if this factor contributed to the food served.
Restaurant meals were excellent. All were clean and the toilets etc good apart from Restaurant in Shanghai as mentioned above. Food served was outstanding in some but the most impressive was a Restaurant during our Beijing visit. After visiting the Great wall we ate at an outstanding restaurant both in presentation and food served. It was excellent! All staff served us well in all restaurants visited during our tour.
We loved the standard of hotels offered. The service was excellent in all. The staff attending to all our requirements made our stays excellent. Lena was outstanding at this also. The best hotel is hard to name as all were different and excellent if we had to choose the best, we believe the Shanghai hotel, Lexington.
Not sure how many stores/factories we visited but we were fine with the visits. Many people bought goods as this was their only chance to shop. We didnt buy, but didnt feel pressured into buying anything. Some travellers only chance to buy were at these places they mentioned.
We loved the tour and intinary provided. Value for money was outstanding. Accomdation and Restaurants were excellent and the food served was of the highest quality and quantity! The bus’s used for daily travel were excellent in size and were clean and drivers polite and friendly. The guides were excellent and knowledge shared with us re historical information was outstanding. We have no hesitation in recommending China Tour Online to all our friends.
The service provided before we started touring was prompt and very informative and we felt comfortable before we commenced our journey with you group due to the high level of service provided. Many thanks for your service, efforts and a great time.

Hello Sophia and Cindy,
I am very sorry that I haven’t got back to you but unfortunately I have not been very well since returning to the UK. We flew home from Hong Kong last Monday and I think it must have been the flight but I have had a cough and not feeling very well at all.
Firstly I would just like to say what a fabulous trip we had, it far outshone our expectations. We were in Shanghai for an extra 3 days with my nephew and his wife and we had a fabulous time, we then flew to Hong Kong and spent a week there. The only thing Hong Kong was very humid – too hot for me. We had a lovely time there also – it has been one of our most memorable holidays. We ate Chinese food all the time for 3 weeks and were never ill, just a pity about the final flight home.
Many thanks for all your help and it was very good to meet you in Xian – that was a lovely night the dumpling banquet was beautiful plus the birthday cake for Brian.
The drivers were polite the whole trip and we very much enjoyed the experience of so much traffic, and how the drivers managed to get through. Of course when you are on holiday this is no problem, when you have to go to work I’m sure it would be very frustrating. The vehicles were fine and we had no problems at all.
The water is an excellent idea and we were very thankful.
All the restaurants were very good, we enjoyed all the food. We were very lucky to have Chinese tourists with us to advise us what we were eating. Perhaps it would be good if the tour guide could stay with the party and let them know which each dish is. The food was all delicious, I don’t know the name of the restaurant we liked best, but it was on the Saturday lunchtime. There was a wedding party also in the restaurant.
The hotel were all very good. I enjoyed the Prime Hotel best as it was the old style, not so modern and felt more Chinese.
The two things I would like to say, are it would be good to have the Beijing Olympic Stadium included in the trip and also the ladies did not realize that once we went out in the morning each day, we would not return until the evening. If you could state this in your instructions for the trip, we would not need to take so many clothes!!

Mr. Damian Burns's China Tour Review

The short tour of selected cities are ideal. Beijing was amazing. In all my travels around the world (seeing for example the Taj Mahal, the Pyramids and the Grand Canyon) the Great Wall is the best sight that I have ever seen – nothing matches it.
Leena in Xian was very enthusiastic, spoke excellent English and provided a lot of information.
the complimentary water was greatly appreciated. At all the restaurants the food was good, the waiter/waitress service was good also.
The hotels were very good. The Best was the Prime Hotel in Beijing
I recall we went to a pearl, jade, terracotta and silk store/factory. We weren’t pushed to stay there.It would be useful to tell your guests the type of stores that you would be visiting – I went to a store the first day I arrived and bought jade. I didn’t know how to check the quality of the jade (which I discovered on the visit to the jade factory) so I probably bought poor quality jade (some had flaws e.g. cracks). If I knew I was to visit a jade factory I would have waited & bought it there.
I would recommend visiting China and to definite use the services of China Tour Online, which was the most competitive priced tour package.

Thank you for a most memorable vacation in your beautiful country. We had a great time and have many memories to cherish. You were always respectful, helpful and professional at all times. The tour was an excellent value, overall. We felt we got our money’s worth. The ChinaTourOnline staff was always concerned about our well being and comfort, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in China.
There were no problems with the vehicles. The air conditioning worked in all three, although it worked better in the last two, which had rear vents. All three drivers behaved well.
There were no serious difficulties, although the second tour guide had a stronger accent than the other two. The third tour guide had to be reminded to provide water. The other two provided water without being prodded. However, the third guide went out of her way to get us water after we mentioned it.
The first hotel was only fair. The air conditioning did not work well. The second and third hotels were very comfortable, with large rooms, modern amenities, and were clean and well supplied. The Lexington Plaza in Shanghai was the best. It had very modern and interesting decor and architecture. The breakfast buffets in all three were very similar and very good.
The restaurants were good, overall, but some stood out as being better than average. There was not a lot of variety in the food. We don’t recall their names, unfortunately. We especially enjoyed the Peking Duck dinner, which was delicious. One disappointment was that desserts consisted of almost
nothing except watermelon. Something else would have been appreciated.
We would particularly like to thank the tour guide in Beijing, who assisted when one of our group became ill on the first day. She was very understanding and accommodating.
