Mr. The Ka Jit's China Tour Review

Dear Tracy and Ivy,
The service is excellent. We are in particular happy with Jane (our guide in Jiuzhaigou) as she’s the most cheerful and helpful guide we’ve ever met. Sonny’s very attentive while Vivian’s very nice (and her English is also the best among three). There are several arranged stop at souvenir shops which part of it I understand was a compulsory stop, but overall it’s ok as we’re not pressured to buy anything.

The driver is very polite and the vehicle is in good condition, equipped with air conditioners.
My wife don’t really enjoy her lunch in a tibetian restaurant (the one we had when we arrived to jiuzhaigou), but other than that we enjoyed the various local foods arranged. My favorite is the Beijing noodle and the dumpling banquet.

Guangzhou hotel was located at an excellent location near to xidan mrt interchange and encircled by various shopping malls/stores. We had the chance to sample some of the best streetfood in Beijing nearby. The hotel’s also clean with comfortable beds. However the service of the staff’s can improve especially their command in English.

City hotel in XI’an is again located strategically in the city square with muslim street in a walking distance. The food’s not bad and for a 3-star hotel, the room’s very comfortable.

Gesang hotel in Jiuzhaigou serve a very delicious noodle in their 2nd floor restaurant and we got to experience the restaurant manager’s exceptional service (the best we’ve ever met). The room’s clean but the toilet’s plumbing system was troubled.

We were provided two bottles of mineral water every day. Thanks for arranging such.

Mr. Zev Levin's China Tour Review

Dear Tracy and Ivy,

We have returned home safely after a great trip to China. It was a memorable experience much due to your organization.

We would like to thank you very much for all your efforts and to all the guides who helped us enjoy this trip.

We would especially like to identify the following guides for the great job that they did:
In Shanghai we want to thank Jack who is knowledgeable and responsible.

In the Yellow Mountains we want to mention Ellen who was so great in organizing the program and for being flexible. Her open attitude was a pleasure for us.

In Guilin we want to mention Tina who was absolutely great in her open attitude and the way she helped us understand the Chinese society.
All the guides are very knowledgeable in English, something that made their job easier and for us a pleasure to listen and learn.

We will certainly recommend your company and these guides to our friends.

Best regards
Zev and Susie Levin, Shlomo and Nina Gonen

Mr. Russell Bunio's China Tour Review

Dear Ivy,
We think the guide service you provided was good. Both tour guides spoke clearly and politely, and on the few occasions that we needed clarrification, they were very good at clarrifying. Both guides were polite, considerate, and organized in their planning and judgement. They both enhanced our trip and contributed to our enjoyment of seeing the sites.

It was especially nice to see Sandra, welcoming us back to Beijing, after our side trip to Xian. She is an exceptionally conscientious and nice person.

We made one or two factory/shopping stops with each guide......... these stops were sometimes associated with lunch.....and all stops were very educational. We enjoyed learning about some of the crafts and products of China.

It was a nice short break from site-seeing and since the weather was extremely warm, it gave us a break from the heat.

We felt no pressure to buy anything. Both guides were very considerate.

Both drivers were good drivers. We felt comfortable with both. Both vehicles were clean and equipped with AC.

Beijing traffic is so difficult, so we give our Beijing driver exceptionally high marks for driving us very smoothly and safely from place to place. He obviously knows the city very well. He always had the comfortable car already cooled off when we got in from walking with our guide. That was a very nice thing on hot days. He also was very helpful with the doors and luggage. Sandra was also helpful opening and closing car doors.

Generally, the all the food was delicious. We enjoyed it. The Peking Duck and dinner in Beijing was wonderful. We enjoyed trying all the different dumplings at the dumpling dinner in Xian as well.

Both guides were very considerate about us eating privately without them.

On at least one occasion, we asked Sandra to order for us. She did an excellent job of ordering food and making good choices for us, since we really did not know what to order. Her choices in restaurants both for lunch and dinner were very good.

Both hotels were fine. The prime Hotel was our favorite. Good that it was our favorite since we spent so many nights there. It was very comfortable, big room, nicely appointed, good service, and friendly staff. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast there.......and ate lunch there on one of our free days........and we ate one dinner there as well.

The king bed was very comfortable. We would stay at the Prime Hotel again and will recommend it to others.

There was always water available in the vehicles at both locations. Thank goodness! We drank a lot of it....and feel that it was important to have it available because the weather was so hot and dry. It was good that we could always depend on water being in the car.

Best Wishes,

Russell

Ms. Naybour's China Tour Review

Dear Sophia Sun,

Thank you very much. We had a wonderful holiday and were very impressed with China Tours.

Everything from the service whilst booking, ie your swift email responses to everything I asked, to all the guides and the standard of hotels. It was extremely professional. If I was travelling to China again, I would not hesitate to use China Tours in the future.

All the guides were very good and very professional. They were all very friendly and spoke good English and consulted us on all plans. I would, however, like to make special mention of Nick in Guilin, who was exceptional. He was particularly knowledgeable and professional. He came across as a lovely person and he was happy to take us where we wanted and whilst offering us options he never pressurised us. We asked him for a recommendation of a restaurant in Guilin (McFound) and it turned out to be one of the best and the cheapest at which we ate. We would like to send him our thanks.

All the cars were comfortable and had air conditioning - not that we like air conditining but it did have it. The drivers all seemed very nice.

All the meals were good. They were all clean restaurants.

We were happy with all the hotels but two we chose ourselves. So can’t comment on comparisons for the original choice.

The standard of the cruise was also very good and I would recommend Century Star. The service was exceptionally good and it was very comfortable and clean.

There was always bottles of water available which was very helpful.

I am happy for you to use my comments. I am also happy to recommend you to other clients. Would not, however, want our email passed to other marketing companies.

Once again, we would like to thank you for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable.

Kind regards,

Julie Naybour.

John's China Tour Review

Dear Tracey and Ivy

First I must apologise for being slow in responding......yes I have been very busy since our return from China....it was my mothers 80th birthday and we had a party for 30 family members!

Thankyou for the wonderful picture taken in Xian....Both John and I appreciate your sending it to us and thankyou also for organising such a wonderful holiday for us

Here now are our comments as requested....
1. All the vehicles used during our trip were clean and tidy with working air conditioners/heaters.

2.All the drivers were polite and friendly and all were very good and safe drivers.

3.All the tour guides were polite and spoke good English. We could always make ourselves and our needs understood

4.The bottles of water were much appreciated and were delivered every day

5.The hotels were all good in regards to the rooms ,cleanliness and staff....at no time did we feel uncomfortable. The best hotel was the Yide Hotel in Pingyao where the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and this made our stay special. The hotel in Luoyang (Huayang Plaza) was undergoing some maintenance so dining/food services were limited and also we found that the 5 star Chinese hotels do not have the same services as 5 star in other countries. (This was not a problem for us but it would have been nice to know) In Xian it would have been better if we were in or nearer the old city...but the hotel was good.
The hotel in Shanghai was very good and we appreciate you recommending it!
We loved the food generally and the restaurants were clean and staff were polite and thoughtful but some meals were far superior to others. The best meals were in Beijing where Juliet (a wonderful guide and a lovely person) gave us some freedom in what was ordered if possible. (I understand that this is not always possible). All the guides did ask us if we had any food likes/dislikes Other good meals were the dumpling banquet in Xian, lunch in Pingyao, lunch in Tongli. The not so good meals were the day we went to Shaolin, the farewell dinner in Shanghai...the meals we enjoyed most were in smaller and less touristy places.

6.We can’t remember how many stores/factories we went to with each guide...but we did not feel pressured!

7. Our tour with CTO was great....it was all very well organised. We appreciated the immediate respose of the company when we requested a change in travel arrangements at very short notice.
We would recommend this company to our friends. 8.Other comments........Shaolin Monastery was very disappointing as was the Kung Fu performance there.....it was too comercialised. If we had known this we would have seen the Kung Fu show in Beijing (which we heard was fantastic) and not visit Shaolin
......all the guides were very knowledgable
.....Juliet, Peach, Jamie and Sally were wonderful....very easy to get on with. Eddie was very thorough and thoughtful but was overprotective (i think he was worried we would get lost).

I hope this information is of some help to your company for future clients.
Thank you again for organising our wonderful holiday

John
