Kate's China Tour Review
Dear Cindy and Sophia:
Thank you for making my experience in China so memorable!! I especially felt Juliette and Jasmine were so wonderful! They were gracious, attentive, knowledgeable, and really took the time to make certain everyone was well informed and comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for 2 better guides!
The vans were adequate and met all basic needs for space and cleanliness. The drivers were all very professional, pleasant and made me feel safe while they drive. I felt all the guides spoke excellent English and there was always water available to anyone at anytime.
If you ask me which is the best restaurant in China, this will be a sort of difficult question as restaurants in the US are very service oriented while in china, they are not. that was a little hard for me to get used to however, it was consistent within each restaurant so I could not have expected more. Also, I loved the Szechwan style food in shanghai, the dumpling dinner and hot pot lunch in Xian. It would have been nice to also try dim sum. The restaurants that I thought could have been better were the lunch in Xian near the terracotta warriors and our last dinner in shanghai before the Acrobatic show. Otherwise, all else was great.
All of the hotels were great and were above my expectations. The best bar far was the hotel in shanghai!
I loved going to the stores/factories and each guide took us to 2-3 which was perfect.
As I mentioned, I loved Juliette and Jasmine...they really made me feel special (especially since I was traveling solo while the other 4 attendees were couples). But more so, they made me fall in love with Beijing and Xian and I would love to return to each of the cities. Jack was fine, but I felt his style was a little hands off and unfocused. His stories would ramble and he would somehow weave each story back to his personal life. He wasn’t bad but I just happened to be really pleased with Juliette and Jasmine.
Thank you again !
Kate

Dear Ivy,
It’s my pleasure to write this email and thanks again for the wonderful trip you organized for us. I wish you all the best, and who knows may be one day we will come back to visit Tibet!!
All the vehicles were clean and they all had air-condition, that however we never used since was never really necessary. We had no problem, everything went smooth as planned. All the drivers are politely and everything was all right with them.
The guide spoke all well enough English, some more and some less, but we did not have any problem due to language.
The free mineral water was really great and unexpected! We highly appreciated it!
Some hotel were better than other, but in total were OK. In details: The hotel in Dali: great location, nice room, but please ask them to better clean the breakfast tables even though the food itself was Ok. The best hotel for position and design was the one in Dali (apart from the tables breakfast)They were definitely all clean.
Hotel in Chengdu: definitely the best one, but the position not good: too far to the city center. For both the hotels in Beijing and Chengdu we would recommend a location really close to the tourist area, since there were free evenings planned in our itinerary.
The best restaurants were in Xi’an (both of them: Dumpling dinner and hotpot), and the one in Guillin were we had lunch. In Beijing none of the two were really good, and the dinner in Lijiang (before the Dongba show), was also not really delicious. All the other ones were definitely OK!
Well, almost with each guide we had at least one shopping stores/factories. However, this has almost never bothered us. Some guides asked us before whether we were interested, some did not. They let us stroll around in the shops by ourselves and when we wanted to leave, they took us to the next stop of our itinerary.
In Beijing, we highly appreciate the fact that our guide was able to organize a visit to a Beijing opera for us - at quite short notice! Another thing we would like to mention is that our second train (Yichang - Xi’an), was by far lowest quality in comparison to the other two. In the program it was written train number XY around 15, but we caught the train YZ around 13, which arrived half an hour early in Xi’an. I don’t know if the one we took was the one planned for us or not, since especially the one from Xi’an to Beijing was of considerably better quality! Anyway, we safely arrived at our destination, which was the most important point for us.
I want to stress the thing that we were/are perfectly happy about our trip, about your organization and how the things went. As said before everything went smooth and was perfectly organized.
We will surely contact you again, in case we will have the possibility to come back, maybe the next time for Tibet!
Best wishes for you too
Beatrice and Christian

Ms. Catherine Day & Mr. Jesse Day 's China Tour Review
Dear Lydia & Fay
Yes, the vehicles were clean and all had working seat belts! Everything went smoothly -- no problems.
No problems -- the drivers seemed expert and professional.
Their level of English was very good. I can’t think of any problems.
The hotel in Xian was beautiful and very comfortable and clean.
I appreciated that the company allowed the guide to have lunch with me, when I was alone in Xian. It was a nice chance to have some interesting discussions with my guide, Jasmine. Also, she was able to explain what I was eating! I enjoyed the hotpot lunch.
The restaurants all seemed very clean. I wasn’t worried about eating there -- and I did not get sick from anything I ate!
The restaurant in Yichang called Nobel’s Kitchen was excellent!
The hotel in Xian was beautiful. That was the only hotel that you booked for me. The cruise ship was excellent, too.
I went to the factory where they make the warriors in Xian, to a Jade shop at the City Wall in Xian, and to a tea ceremony in Xian. I requested the tea ceremony. I enjoyed all the visits. I was offered to stop at an embroidery factory in Yichang, but it was Womens’ day and the factory was closed.
Yes, but that may take a little while for me to get organized!
I was very impressed by the level of service -- everything went smoothly. The guides were very pleasant, and knowledgeable, and they all had very good English skills. Also, they were diligent in making sure I got to flights on time and making sure there were no problems checking in. There was some flexibility in the schedule to allow me to linger, or shop, or walk more, or walk less if I chose. I was able to have several choices about what to see after the schedule was finished.
It would have been extremely difficult to try to manage on my own in China -- I’m sure the stress of that would have ruined the whole trip for me.
No complaints! I spent a lot of time with Jasmine in Xian -- I enjoyed her company. The other guides, I was with only briefly, but they seemed fine and were all interesting. The drivers were all helpful with the luggage and managed to avoid accidents!!
Thank you for the beautiful scarf -- I will think of my trip every time I wear it. I really appreciate all of your work in arranging such a wonderful and memorable trip.
Sincerely,
Catherine Day

| Our clients at Tiananmen Square, Beijing |
Dear China Tour Online,
Many thanks for your service, I am glad to share our experience during the tour with you. Overall the tour itself was very pleasant and we are grateful to have done it. Thank you for the arrangements and services you have provided for our holiday.
The hotels were nice and tidy. The rooms were clean and spacious. The amenities were complete and useful.
The restaurants were very nicely chosen. We were brought to nice, clean, and big restaurants. Majority of the foods were delicious and the quantity were abundant, we could not finish them in every meal. Several times we ate similar foods in different restaurants, would be great actually if every meal could present us with different local Chinese foods.I personally like the Sichuan restaurant in shanghai the most, as they offered food with the most taste (please bear in mind that Indonesian people love strong taste foods, and spicy foods).
The vehicle was clean and spacious. The air-conditioning worked well. The drivers behaved politely and helpful. They did not smoke while driving, and quite flexible in term of taking us sightseeing.
The tour guides were very pleasant and understanding. There was no problem of communication between us; their English was fluent and their guide was clear and fun.
Our tour guide in Beijing, Ms. Li, was very kind to us and fun to be with. We would like to praise her efforts in guiding us and making our stay in Beijing enjoyable. She is very informative in humorous way, and very kind that she was willing to care for our grandmother when she was tired of the trip.

Mr. Gregory Stanton Reading's China Tour Review
Dear Ms Tracy Liu and Ms Ivy Lu,
The vehicles were fine and the drivers were generally very good and polite. This was in contrast to some of the taxi drivers we hired privately, some of whom drove in a scary manner.
The tour guides were all very good, very friendly and helpful, and communicated well. One or two sometimes mispronounced some English words, but nothing serious, and they were happy to be advised in this by us. Often they went out of there way to ensure that things went smoothly for us, and they are always happy to meet our preferences.
We always drink only bottled water when traveling to avoid becoming sick, so this is important.
Over-all the hotels were good, but with the following comments:
Shanghai - a pity about the road-works outside and it was a long walk to the places we wanted to visit.
Xian - comfortable and very well located. Although they made an effort to deliver a "western breakfast" (bacon and fried eggs), breakfast here was the worst of our trip. We are happy to experiment with local foods, but like juice (not cordial) and fresh fruit. Toast should be brown and crisp, not a slice of bread waved in front of a heater.
Beijing is very comfortable and well located with a metro-station at the front-door.
One problem we had at all hotels was that we were provided with a single blanket which tended to be too hot. The option of a lighter cover or sheet as well would be desirable and make sleeping more comfortable.
The restaurants were generally good and especially Chongqing and Xian. Shanghai was the least interesting.
In Beijing the guide took us to a local restaurant, not the usual restaurant for tourists, which we really enjoyed.
We have not commented on the Yangtze Cruise, which was the high-light of our trip. The food was good, everyone was very attentive and the river-guides were especially good and friendly. The scenery and the side-trips were interesting, and the accommodation was fine.
We were very happy over-all and very interested to visit China.

Dear Mr. Gregory Stanton Reading & Mr. Stephen Hendro SOELISTIO,
We are following up the our service and thanks again for your comments as you did help us to improve our service quality greatly.
We investigated the hotel breakfast situation in Xian, and we also give your suggestions and feedback to the manager of the hotel, they are guilty about providing the unsatisfied breakfast to their clients and they also showed their sincere attitude towards improving the service quality. We believe that you will enjoy the tasty breakfast when you come to Xian next time.
And we have also given your suggestions to all the hotels for a lighter cover or sheet to make sleeping more comfortable during April, and they show that any constructive suggestions to them are welcomed at any time and they will definitely improve it.
Please be assured that we were happy with all the service from Chinatouronline. We would be happy to use your service again next time we go to China and we would recommend your company to our friends.
Thanks again for your helpful suggestions.
Thank you again for your time and helpful feedback and we are looking forward to welcoming you to China and serving you with upgraded service!
