Mr. Bill Mairs's China Tour Review
Hi Tracy Liu,
Your guide service on the whole was pretty good – but we were spoilt a bit by having Tony first as his English was very good and it would be very hard to have any guides as good as he was. The other guides only had small jobs and did them okay.
There were a few stops organised which were very nice shops and there was no hard sell– the stops generally were a good brake.
The vehicles were extremely good and very clean and the drivers were safe drivers but it could just be general for all drivers as I found their use of gears was pretty useless.Either you need automatic cars or teach your drivers when to
change gears – I hate it when a motor is stressed.
All the meals organised were very good and we really loved a Sichuan chicken dish – some meals were extremely good.
Hotels were reasonable but my wife found the beds too hard. The Shanghai Ramada was the best which was to be expected as it was one star better but it was a little out of town but had a very good shopping centre close by and we were quite happy taking the Underground. All hotels were very clean and tidy – they were 3 or 4 stars and I
would recommend them as okay.
Overall the tour worked very well and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will be telling our friends and my Airline workers of your good service. Any comments you wish to use is okay.
Regards Bill Mairs

Mr. Larry Percival's China Tour Review
Dear Tracy,
All the tour vehicles were modern, clean and well driven. We had some passenger cars and some small tour vans.
Absolutely no problems whatsoever. The drivers were well dressed and polite. Their driving skills were excellent. They were helpful in assisting us into the vehicles and opening and closing doors.
English was well spoken. The guides were a wealth of information teaching us the historical as well as contemporary aspects of this wonderfully complex culture.
Every guide was university trained in English and Tourism.
We did not receive two bottles of water in Shanghai, but we did in all other venues. This is a very nice bonus service.
Oh Wow!. The restaurant were all excellent choices. The nice thing is that they were all different allowing us to experience different decorating and entertainment as we moved from province to province. One restaurant placed us in a private dining room and while this can be viewed as "special", we preferred to sit with the locals so we could interact. As non-Asians we were still a novelty in some areas and locals were really interested in speaking with us. It was great.
I am a retired Public Health Officer, so I carefully observe conditions in all food premises. I found the restaurants to be very clean, the food was hot and the handling very sanitary. It was nice to have a western component to all breakfasts(eggs, toast, bacon, fruit and yogurt). All other meals were traditional chinese and were delicious. Of all the lunches and suppers, we had only one repeat dish.Every meal offered a fruit plate for dessert. The baked fish dish in Yichang was the best we have ever had!!! The dumpling dinner was excellent. The flavors became spicier as we got closer the Xian but were not overwelming. The quantities were huge; often 6-7 different plates plus soup(delicious) for the 2 of us. The food on the cruise ship was very good and my only negative comment had to do with the breakfast buffet. The group of guests on our ship were very agressive in stampeeding the buffet when it opened and we often missed out because the food trays were empty. ( Some of the guests also smoked in the dining room). The riverboat cruise director was appalled with their behavour, but little seemed to be done to correct the issues.
We chose this tour carefully from a choice of many others because it offered the itinerary we wanted and the number of meals(saves time and hassle). The tour delivered everything with adequate time at every venue. Highlites: Shanghai is the most beautiful city and our hotel was only 2 blocks from the Bund, the rivercruise was wonderful,Terracotta warriors were unbelievable, acrobat show and Tang music show, the Pandas and the Wall, Forbidden City and Tienaman Square in Beijing. This basically was a private tour for the 2 of us with a guide and driver. This is nice compared to a group tour because everything moves faster and you can hear everything the guides tell you.
Sharing the sleeping compartment on the overnight train was a positive experience for us,although others that may be more reserved should consider opting for a private compartment.
Thanks for coming by to meet us Tracy. I have already recommended ChinaTourOnline to several people.
China was modern, clean and safe. We enjoyed interacting with the wonderful people and learned much. Thanks for a great time!

Dan 's China Tour Review
Fay,
We are back home and getting back to our normal schedules.
We had an absolutely wonderful trip. I thank you for the professional way you took care of us.
Our comments about the trip:
1. Guides - Juliet in Beijing was knowledgeable, friendly, and mostly very pleasant. She became exasperated now and then with us when we were slow or straggling behind. Nicole in Xian was excellent. She told us all about the things we saw, was very patient with us, and help us when we wanted to change something. Mr Kuan in Shanghai had a lot of difficulty with English, but was very, very polite and wanted to please. He accommodated everything we asked of him.
2. Drivers and vehicles - All of our driver were courteous, on time, and helpful when we wanted to stop or change something. The vehicles were all satisfactory, clean and comfortable with plenty of water available. All were air conditioned.
3. Breakfast at the hotels were all very good. All the other meals were good, except the lunch next to the summer palace. We thought it was not very good and not very clean.
4. We were very pleased with all the hotels. All were very nice. The hotel in Beijing made us nervous because so many things in the room had a price tag on it, we didn’t know if we were incurring extra cost or not. The hotel in Xian was very comfortable, with a nice quiet bar. The hotel in Shanghai was nice but the bar was too loud.
5. We had plenty of water.
6. My wife and daughter had an extended trip to Cairo (with our camera). They will be home soon and we will send a few photos.
7. We were very pleased with our trip, and I would recommend your service to anyone. Everything went just as we had planned, and just as you had told us. The few things we wanted to change during the trip were quickly accommodated for us. My wife’s father came along with us, and sometimes we needed to slow down a bit. I am very glad we chose the private tour, and it was well worth the small extra cost.
Each of the guides gave us a survey letter, but were confused as to whether it was for evaluating them or the previous guide.
Thanks for a great trip.

Mr. The Ka Jit's China Tour Review
Dear Tracy and Ivy,
The service is excellent. We are in particular happy with Jane (our guide in Jiuzhaigou) as she’s the most cheerful and helpful guide we’ve ever met. Sonny’s very attentive while Vivian’s very nice (and her English is also the best among three). There are several arranged stop at souvenir shops which part of it I understand was a compulsory stop, but overall it’s ok as we’re not pressured to buy anything.
The driver is very polite and the vehicle is in good condition, equipped with air conditioners.
My wife don’t really enjoy her lunch in a tibetian restaurant (the one we had when we arrived to jiuzhaigou), but other than that we enjoyed the various local foods arranged. My favorite is the Beijing noodle and the dumpling banquet.
Guangzhou hotel was located at an excellent location near to xidan mrt interchange and encircled by various shopping malls/stores. We had the chance to sample some of the best streetfood in Beijing nearby. The hotel’s also clean with comfortable beds. However the service of the staff’s can improve especially their command in English.
City hotel in XI’an is again located strategically in the city square with muslim street in a walking distance. The food’s not bad and for a 3-star hotel, the room’s very comfortable.
Gesang hotel in Jiuzhaigou serve a very delicious noodle in their 2nd floor restaurant and we got to experience the restaurant manager’s exceptional service (the best we’ve ever met). The room’s clean but the toilet’s plumbing system was troubled.
We were provided two bottles of mineral water every day. Thanks for arranging such.

Mr. Zev Levin's China Tour Review
Dear Tracy and Ivy,
We have returned home safely after a great trip to China. It was a memorable experience much due to your organization.
We would like to thank you very much for all your efforts and to all the guides who helped us enjoy this trip.
We would especially like to identify the following guides for the great job that they did:
In Shanghai we want to thank Jack who is knowledgeable and responsible.
In the Yellow Mountains we want to mention Ellen who was so great in organizing the program and for being flexible. Her open attitude was a pleasure for us.
In Guilin we want to mention Tina who was absolutely great in her open attitude and the way she helped us understand the Chinese society.
All the guides are very knowledgeable in English, something that made their job easier and for us a pleasure to listen and learn.
We will certainly recommend your company and these guides to our friends.
Best regards
Zev and Susie Levin, Shlomo and Nina Gonen
