Terms and Conditions
Service Includes:
- The first entrance and admission fees of the spots as indicated in the itinerary.
- Daily Western/Chinese buffet breakfast is served by the hotel, and Chinese style lunch and/or dinner will be served in elegant local restaurant with one cup of soft drink. All meals are scheduled and served as the itinerary specifies.
- Excellent private and knowledgeable English-speaking guide, and well-equipped commercial vehicle with driver accompanied on your tour between airports, railway stations, scenery spots and hotels.
- Accommodation in hotels are base on two persons sharing one standard room with twin beds. If a client requires a single room, the single supplement will be charged.
- All the transfer fares including economy-class of domestic flights, airports taxes and fuel charges, soft seat or sleeper of trains between China cities indicated in the itinerary.
- Travel Agency's Liability Insurance with your tour inside China.
- Chinese government taxes and the city construction fees on your travel tour.
Service Excludes:
- Individual private expense including but not limited to laundry, drink, telex, phone calls or excess luggage charges. etc.
- The international flight or train charge of entering and exiting China.
- China entry visa fees.
- Meals that are not indicated in the tour itinerary.
- Gratuities to guides and drivers.
Deposit & Final payment:
A deposit which is equal to 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of confirmation. The full or final payment is required 30 days before departure for your China tour. Should the tour booked within 30 days before departure for your China tour, full payment is required. Please kindly note that deposit is Non-refundable.
Method of payment:
- Pay through PayPal, which is a third-party online payment platform, by using your credit card( visa or master card only). Please note that there is an extra 3% card charge on your own.
- Pay by bank transfer. Please note that the transfer fee is on your own.
- Pay by credit card( visa or master card only). Please note that tehre is an extra 3% card charge on your own.
- Pay by Western Union. Please note that the transfer fee is on your own.
Alteration of Itinerary
If unforeseen circumstance beyond our control require us to make relevant changes to your travel arrangement, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries. Where it is necessary to change the accommodation, CTO reserve the right to substitute it of at least a similar standard. We make changes on the conditions that:- Events happened out of our control, such as war, fire, epidemics, health risks, typhoon,earthquake and other actual or potential severe weather conditions etc. Then, the extra fares will be charged if there incurred any cost.
- The air schedule or surface transportation changed, and/or events happened beyond its control.
Cancellation Refunds:
All cancellation should be made in writing to CTO and will be subject to the
following cancellation charges from the date the written cancellation is received. The reservation deposit will not be calculated into the charge of the cancellation percentage.
More than 30 days prior to departure date, loss of deposit, but would be applicable within 12 months for your next trip with CTO.
- Between 15-30 days prior to departure date, loss of 10% of tour cost.
- Between 8-14 days prior to departure date, loss of 25% of tour cost.
- Between 2-7 days prior to departure date, loss of 50% of tour cost.
- With 24 hours prior to departure date, loss of 100% of tour cost.
If your tour covers Yangtze Cruise portion, in addition to the cancellation
fee charged by CTO, the penalty will based on the relevant policy issued
by the Cruise Company. If the confirmed tour reservation is cancelled while
it is in progress, or if any programs are missed because of the individual
behaviors such as early departure/late arrival or cancel the attractions,
the unused services can not be refunded nor exchangeable.
Insurance
CTO recommends travel insurance against loss of deposit and cancellation charge, baggage loss, theft, accident, injury and medical expenses. You are recommend to apply your own insurance before travel. We make no representation or guarantee concerning risks covered or reimbursement available under any insurance. You agree not to hold us responsible for may decision made by insurers, and/or by any suppliers.
Passport & Visa
It is your responsibility to find out about applicable visa entry, valid passport, health and other requirements of overseas counties to which you intend to travel and you should make the appropriate disclosures as required. CTO accept no responsibility and is not liable for any expenses, costs liabilities or loss incurred in relation to such matters or for your failure to comply with laws, regulation, orders and/or requirements of China.
Baggage
We recommend that you only pack and bring with you luggage that you can safely handle yourself if required. Whilst porters are available at larger hotels, coach parking areas at some airports or train stations may be some distance. The airline regulation baggage allowance for travel in Economy class is 20Kgs and if often strictly adhered to. Please ensure that you make every effort to comply with this restriction. Cabin baggage should not exceed 5Kgs and there are restrictions on the carriage of liquids or any kind inside aircraft. Please refer to the applicable airline to check with the details.
Vaccinations
A visa does not guarantee your entry to or permission to remain in a country. Some countries may refuse entry because of your state of health or for other reasons, or may detain, expel or repatriate you.
Passport Checks
You are required to ensure names used to make booking are exactly the same those appearing in the passport. Any name/initial or spelling changes will incur re-issue fee charged by airline or other supplier.
Shopping
Shopping can be fun and entertaining, especially in local markets, where many copies of international brand names can be purchased for next to nothing. However, ChinaTourOnline.com, its staff and employees are not qualified not permitted to ensure the quality or value of any goods purchased and the security of using a credit card for those transaction is entirely at the clients own risks and at all time the clients must use their own discretion.
Tipping
Tipping is a firm and expected element in the Tourism industry today and China is no exception. CTO will advise the amount required per person on the basis of the length of the tour undertaken.
Complaints
We endeavor to ensure that the arrangements we have made for you are implemented as arranged. If a problem occurs, the most practical way to deal with it is to attempt resolution locally with the service provider. If you fail to follow this course, any claim for compensation may be reduced or denied. If you have any unresolved complaint, details should be lodged in writing within 7 days of return to your country.
Responsibility:
By booking tour programs from CTO, you are agreeing to the above terms & conditions. We reserve the right to revise or update the terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice to you. So please carefully review the following items. Acting as a large and notable travel agency in China, CTO designs and
distributes travel products, and arranges for the travel services offered on its
website, including excellent guide service, convenient transportation services,
attractive excursions, comfortable accommodations and other related travel
services through varied suppliers. These suppliers offering relevant services
for our tour programs, are independent contractors, but not the agents or
employees of CTO or its affiliates. You understand that travel within a group may involve compromise to the
exact situations of group members. So CTO reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time.
CTO tries every attempt to guarantee the comfort, convenience and safety
of clients, so we reserves the right to make alternations in your itinerary,
and even to cancel the tour at any time.
CTO reserve the right to correct the pricing errors or to change the tour
program price due to the cost increases including the rising airfares, admission
fees, taxes, fuel charges, and currency devaluation etc, before you confirmed
the itinerary.
CTO accepts no responsibility for such losses due to events out of our control
including but not limited to terrorism, political unrest, war, earthquake, landslide, delay or cancellation of the flights or trains.
CTO shall not be responsible for any extra services that the client temporarily requires in the cities which are excluded from the confirmed itinerary. We are not responsible for any damages and losses on shopping sites, the excluded attractions and destinations, etc. while we will make effort to help our clients to get out of the difficult positions. CTO aims at offering an especially memorable China tour to every one who travel with us.
