Today's Activities Our guide will warmly greet you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel. After checking in at the hotel, the rest of the day will be your free time to adjust to the jet lag and relax yourselves.

Day 2

Place & Transport Beijing
Today's Activities After breakfast, your visit in Beijing begins from the largest public square in the world - Tiananmen Square. Walking through the square, you will enter the world's largest palace building complex-Forbidden City. Afterwards, drive to Old Beijing's Hutongs(narrow alleys) for a rickshaw ride, visit a traditional courtyard house and taste a delicious lunch served at a local family home. Then enjoy the breathtaking views of Summer Palace, the finest imperial garden built in Qing Dynasty.

Day 3

Place & Transport Beijing
Today's Activities The morning excursion takes you to Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven for good harvest. After lunch at a local restaurant, you take a scenic drive to the Great Wall, the less- crowded Mutianyu section (including round-trip cable car). Taste delicious Peking Duck at dinner. In the evening, watch the world-famous Kungfu Show before driving back to hotel.

Day 4

Place & Transport Beijing-Xian
Today's Activities Check out in the morning, and then take a photo stop at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube-the main stadiums of 2008 Beijing Olympics on the way to Beijing 798 Art Zone. Beijing 798 Art Zone with more than 200 art & culture galleries was once a military-industrial factory complex since early 1950's. As for lunch, you can get by yourself in Beijing 798 Art Zone. Then take the afternoon flight to Xi'an for more Chinese history experience. Upon arrival in Xian, our local guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 5

Place & Transport Xian
Today's Activities Take an excursion to China's greatest archaeological discovery-Terracotta Warriors and Horses, an underground army for the tomb of China's First Emperor over 2,200 years ago. After lunch, drive to the square in front of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is the landmark of this city. A walk around the square will help you appreciate the exquisite Tang-styled architectures and sculptures. This evening, you attend a special Dumpling banquet followed by a remarkable Tang Dynasty Culture Show.

Day 6

Today's Activities Pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum in the morning. After lunch, visit well-preserved Xian City Wall (Bicycle Riding on the wall is included) and the Great Mosque with the famous Muslim Street nearby where you can taste the local snacks and view the special local products along the street.

Day 7

Place & Transport Xian-Lhasa
Today's Activities We will transfer you to the airport, and you'll leave Xian for Lhasa which is the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region. Since Lhasa stands at roughly 3,600 meters above the sea level, you need a good rest at the rest of the day in order to adapt yourself to the high altitude and avoid excessive physical activity to prevent altitude sickness.

Day 8

Place & Transport Lhasa
Today's Activities After breakfast, we'll visit Lhasa's most recognizable attraction – the Potala Palace. The Potala Palace has long been enmeshed in the collective dreams of numerous travelers to this mystical region of Tibet. After lunch, visit the dramatic Jokhang Temple which is acclaimed as Lhasa's most sacred monastery and Tibet's spiritual center. Then explore the vibrating Bhakhor Street surrounding the Jokhang Temple,at last,take you to visit the Lhasa Nunnery.

Day 9

Place & Transport Lhasa
Today's Activities In the morning we'll visit Norbulingka which serves as the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. After lunch, proceed to the Sera Monastery which ranks one of the top three famous monasteries in Lhasa. The monks at Sera Monastery debate Doctrines almost every day. If you listen to the debating of Buddhist Doctrines, you'll be deeply impressed by the intense atmosphere.

Day 10

Place & Transport Lhasa-Chongqing
Today's Activities In the morning, pay a visit to Tibet Museum. After lunch, leave Lhasa for Chongqing by plane. Our local guide will meet you at Chongqing airport. After dinner, embark on the luxury President Cruise Ship. Immediately after weighing anchor at 22:00, a Safety, Orientation & River Briefing Presentation is arranged for you.

Day 11

Place & Transport Yangtze River Cruise
Today's Activities Sail along the Yangtze River today. There is a necessary Safety, Orientation & River Briefing presentation for you in the morning. Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, which looks like a strangely-shaped pagoda hugging a hill. It is about 200 meters or 700 feet tall. Shibaozhai Pagoda is a 12-tier wooden pavilion with a height of 56 meters (184 feet) built against the mountain. Visitors reach the top of the mountain by climbing the stairs inside the pavilion.
Enjoy the wonderful Chinese folk dance and music performance by the cruise staff at the exciting Captain's Welcome Banquet in the evening.

Day 12

Place & Transport Yangtze River Cruise
Today's Activities Another day of cruise offers you the charming sights of the spectacular Qutang Gorge and the pretty Wu Gorge. The cruise guide will tell you more about the Three Gorges, including the ancient plank road, mengliang stairway and the hanging coffins of the Ba people. On the way, you will land at Badong for a small wooden boat trip to experience the excitement of river travel and enjoy the natural beauty of the Shennong Stream. After that we will return to the ship and continue sailing into the spectacular Xiling Gorge. You can show your talents in tonight's Farewell Party performance.

Day 13

Place & Transport Yichang-Shanghai
Today's Activities Explore the gargantuan project of the Three Gorges Dam after breakfast. Then return to the ship and prepare for check-out. The ship will reach Yichang at about 11:30 and our guide will meet you on board. After lunch, our guide will transfer you to the airport, and then you will fly to the dynamic Shanghai. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by another local guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 14

Today's Activities You visit the Shanghai Museum, with a collection of more than 120,000 cultural relics of ancient China; its display includes ceramics, jade, bronze, furniture and paintings, etc. A La Carte Lunch is included. After the tour of the 400-year old famous classical Yuyuan Garden with the local market nearby, then take a walk at the Bund and the prosperous Nanjing Road. Afterwards, you attend an unforgettable Acrobatic Show.
