Day 2	Place & Transport	Nanjing
	Today's Activities	Visit Nanjing, where you will tour the Sun Yat-sen Memorial and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple, which is once a center of Confucian study for more than 1500 years, it has been damaged and rebuilt repeatedly, the present buildings are late-Qing dynasty structures or completely new ones restored in traditional style.

	Today's Activities	Full day excrusion to Huangshan, one of China's most famous mountain ranges. Travel to the royal retreat through some of the country's most scenic rural areas. (Jiuhuashan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.)

Day 6	Place & Transport	Yichang/Xiling Gorge/Three Gorges Dam Site/Ship Locks
	Today's Activities	This morning, sail through Gezhou Dam near Yichang. In the afternoon, visit the Three Gorges Dam site, the largest project of its kind in the world. Sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest(41miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. Later today, enter the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

Day 7	Place & Transport	Small Three Gorges/Wu Gorge/Qutang Gorge
	Today's Activities	Today, take an excursion through the Small Three Gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive. Enter Wu Gorge, known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Then sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic gorge.
